Ms. Tarassishina joined Aquamarine in October, 2006 as an Associate. She is now responsible for the operations of the fund and investor relations.

Previous to Aquamarine, Ms. Tarassishina was with MotherRock LP, MotherRock, LP is a $440 million energy hedge fund, focused primarily on natural gas, crude oil and other energy commodity futures, options and cleared swaps. While she was not involved in trading, she gained valuable exposure to the nature of commodities investment and pitfalls that an investment manager should look out for.

Education
She graduated with a B.B.A., Summa Cum Laude, from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College in 2004. She is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and Golden Key International Honour Society.

Other
Ms. Tarassishina has lived in Ukraine, Scotland, and the USA. She is fluent in Russian and Ukrainian. Her hobbies include opera, painting, karate and Oriental dance.
