Dan Moore joined Aquamarine Capital Management, LLC in 2005 as Senior Analyst. His primary responsibility is to research and generate investment ideas in order to enhance the performance of the fund.

Prior to joining Aquamarine, Dan was a Senior Equity Analyst at CJS Securities in White Plains, NY, researching small cap companies across a broad range of industries. Before that, he was an Associate Analyst with Wachovia Securities, Inc. in New York, focused on the media sector and has over 10-years of investment related experience.

Education
Dan graduated from Hamilton College in 1994 with BA Degree in Economics. He earned an MBA from the Kenan-Flagler School of Business at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill in 2000. In 1998, Dan received the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation and is a member of the New York Society of Securities Analysts.

Dan lives in White Plains, NY with his wife, Alyse and daughter, Lily. He enjoys all things sports related and is an avid (though highly erratic) golfer.
