Daniel Moore worked at Aquamarine Capital Management, LLC from June 1, 2005 to May 29, 2009. He remains an investor in Aquamarine Value Fund, LP.

Dan was a Senior Analyst. His primary responsibilities included research and generation of investment ideas in order to enhance the performance of the fund. He also served as an interim CFO.

Prior to joining Aquamarine, Dan was a Senior Equity Analyst at CJS Securities in White Plains, NY, researching small cap companies across a broad range of industries. Before that, he was an Associate Analyst with Wachovia Securities, Inc. in New York, focused on the media sector and has over 10-years of investment related experience.

Dan is currently the Chief Risk Officer for Belltower Advisors, LLC, a long/short equity fund focused on energy and commodities in Raleigh, NC.

Education
Dan graduated from Hamilton College in 1994 with BA Degree in Economics. He earned an MBA from the Kenan-Flagler School of Business at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill in 2000. In 1998, Dan received the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation and is a member of the New York Society of Securities Analysts.
